Well, it took an online chat with WordPress support but now this page – and the related email address – are fully operational.
After all the fiddling around it’s late but I’ve enjoyed getting closer to having a proper website. Cuttings and links to work will follow.
Aside from getting to grips with WordPress I’ve spent the day writing press releases for Swansea’s wonderful elysiumgallery, which has an exciting show opening on Friday and another one, by Pascal-Michel Dubois, opening on September 11.
I’ve also popped down to the adorable new Home Bird Boutique in Swansea’s Picton Arcade to do a feature on owner Sophie Rees’ mission to bring original, interesting gifts and homeware to Swansea’s city centre. Up until now, those stumped for gift ideas had to head to Mumbles, but Sophie looks set to change all that. Needless to say I left with a set of coasters and a bracelet.
Oh – and I managed to fit in a family summer holiday lunch at Nando’s. I know, not what you’d expect from a restaurant writer but the kids love it and I’m very partial to the macho peas.
I’ll leave you with a picture of my little companion on the sofa this evening.
